So I'm a single mom with 2 small kids constantly running, playing, screaming, etc. I read one review that said it took the many an hour to put together. However it took me a few hours. The instructions were smooth and easy to read. When I got to the slats at the bottom of the bed, some of the little pieces of wood that you connect to the slats would not completely screw on. I automatically assumed it was the bolts. However, after going to Hope Depot and buying new bolts, I realized that the receptors inside of the pieces of wood were too small. Anyway, I have had a desk jobs for years and am not included to use any tools beside a hammer. haha. This was very easy to assemble. I love it.Briana
